He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Elizabeth; his wife Helen; his daughter Karen Heizer Taber; his granddaughter Jennifer Heizer; and his great grandchild Sean Taber.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Heizer (Carol Ann), David Heizer (Linda) of Smithville and Sharon Lancaster (Larry); his grandchildren, Brian Heizer (Lisa), Mark, Sheryl Heizer, Beth Bonner (Jeff), Kathy O'Neal (Trey), Timothy Taber (Stephanie), Michael Taber (Ashley), Laurel and Jonathan Lancaster; and his siblings, Charles, Leo, Louis, Richard, Donald Heizer, Emily Hayden, Margaret Fadler and Patricia Whelan. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
