Though Benjamin may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sylvia Poindexter; his children, Darrilynn Poindexter Williams (Darion), LaShaunda Poindexter Massey and Brian J. Poindexter; and his grandchildren, Erin, Eric and Ean.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:55 AM at the Pentecostal Temple Institutional Church of God in Christ (229 S Danny Thomas Blvd, Memphis, TN 38126). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery (4000 Forest Hill Irene Rd, Memphis, TN 38125).
