She was predeceased by: her husband Mitchell Garner; her parents, Ernest Allen and Hautie Allen; and her siblings, Allene Marrs, Charles Allen, Vernon Allen, Jim Allen, Granville Allen, Susie Baker and Patsy Terry.
She is survived by: her son Doug Garner (Tammy); her granddaughters, Jamie Droke (Andy) and Jennifer Wiles (Matt); and her great grandchildren, Henry Droke, Emma Grace Droke, Hannah Wiles and Jacob Wiles. She is also survived by her family and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Forest Hill Funeral Home (2440 Whitten Rd, Memphis, TN 38133). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests that instead of flowers honoring Polly, a donation be made in her memory to The Alzheimer's Association, The Dementia Society of America, or the charity of your choice.
