He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kennie and Frances Phillips Branch; and his brother James Louis Branch. He is survived by: his children, Melody Branch McGaughey (Todd) and Zack Branch (Sabrina); his godson Alex Hill; his siblings, Margaret Branch Dean (Steve) and David Branch (Gail); his aunt Barbara Branch; and his grandchildren, Greer, Gracie McGaughey, Lexy, Reese and Larkin Branch. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
