She is survived by: her children, Eric (Raquel) and Traci; her grandsons, Evan and Andrew; and her siblings, Alice Lathan, Donnie Massey and John Ballentine (Bobbie). She is also survived by extended family and lifelong friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to LeMoyne-Owen College.
