She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe H. Davis, Sr. and Ruth Hipps Davis; her husband William T. Whitley; and her siblings, Marne Whitenton and Joe H. Davis, Jr..

She is survived by: her sons, Michael T. Whitley and Charles D. Whitley (Wendy); and her grandchildren, Davis Whitley (Amanda) and Lindsey Whitley (Matt). She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in her name may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
