We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2024, at the age of 77, Catherine Nubia (Memphis, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Noble Nubia and Esteen Nubia; and her sisters, June (Bennie Donelson), Joan (Reuben Farmer), Noblean (Fred Jacob), Dorothy (James Sweeting) and Margaret Nubia Porter Brake.

She is survived by : her nephew Fred Jacob; her sister Shirley Nubia Ellis (Jimmie); her close friends, Jeanne Ricard, Mimi Sneed and Gina Ricard; and her godchildren, Jennifer Sneed, Carole Spearman, Aminah Sigler and Emily Warner. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and neighbors.

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (1663 Elvis Presley Blvd, Memphis, TN 38106).
