He was predeceased by: his parents, Juanita LaVerne Hall and Charles A. Henderson, Sr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Sandra R. Bartley Jones and Clarence Jordan; his wife Sandra F. Whitmore; his siblings, Angela Sullivan (William), Cheryl Henderson, Kenneth Robinson, Kirby Jordan, Michael Henderson and Paul Carter; his children, Braxton M. (Chalis), Chaise L. (Maxine), ShaRhondrea F. (Marcus), April D. (Tyrone) and Johnston G.; his goddaughters, Cassie McGill and Markeita Ross; his grandchildren, Braylon, Laila, Silas, Aldon, Owen and Zoe; and his close friend Phil Turner.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Healing Center (3885 Tchulahoma Rd, Memphis, TN 38118).
