He was predeceased by: his parents, George Vergos and Louise Vergos. He is survived by: his siblings, George Vergos, Mary Davis (Jimmy) and Theodore Vergos; his nieces and nephews, Courtney Sims (Ryan Poe), Emily Wilson (Matt), Ryan Davis (Chalin) and Seth Davis (Julia); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Carter Sims (Gracie), Levi Wilson, Lorilai Wilson, Eloise Wilson and Eleanor Davis.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Central Baptist Church (5470 Raleigh Lagrange Rd, Memphis, TN 38134). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Helen Crigger Cemetery (246 Beaver Rd, Munford, TN 38058).
