She was predeceased by: her father Joe Willie Brown; her sister Frances Elizabeth Mull; her uncle Eugene Faulkner; her aunt Eula Mae Jackson; her nieces and nephews, Marti'Harrison, Mario Harris (LaCreisa), James Malone Jr. (Keora), Terence Mull, Delvin Mull (Tyra), Marquette Cathey (Vernon), LaKendra Mull, Roshundra Mull, Markeshia Harris and LaKeta Crutcher (Justin); and her pets, Kells and Bruno.
She is survived by: her mother Sammie Lee Hines; her daughter LaTeska Newberry; her siblings, Ivory Louis Hayes, Landora Harris Brown (Lewis) and Dorothy Jean Boyd (Eddie) of Plano, TX; her aunts, Sela Mae Thomas and Elizabeth Hayes; Richard Newberry.
