She is survived by: her husband Richard Boyce Summers; her sister Sherron Lynn Wilcheck (Mike) of Piperton, TN; her sons, Richard Barrett Summers of Memphis, Jonathan Blake Summers (Corinne) of Memphis and David Brandon Summers (Heather) of Memphis; and her grandchildren, Lydia Flinn (Connor), Barrett Summers, Beatrice, Ella Summers, Asher Summers, Mathon Parker, Nealy Parker and Owen Parker.
After a dignified battle with Alzheimer's disease, Cheryl McCord Summers passed peacefully at home with her family on August 11, 2025.
