He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Wayne Wooddell and Elsie Louise Carter Wooddell; and his sister Dorothy Wooddell Beasley. He is survived by: his son Randy Wooddell (Debbie Jones Wooddell) of Memphis, TN; his granddaughter Whitney Wooddell Hochstein (Daniel Hochstein); his great grandchildren, Carter, Harry, Liam and Eleanor May Hochstein; and his brother John Wooddell (Donna Sue Wooddell) of Toone, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
