She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Johnston and Minnie Johnston; her brothers, Woodrow of Cecil, E. F. and Louis Johnston; her husband Walter Throneberry; her son Woody Throneberry; and her daughter-in-law Linda Wesson Throneberry.
She is survived by: her sister Vera Johnston Griffin; and her sons, Kel, Gregg (Cindy) and Wade Throneberry (Janet). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
