He was predeceased by: his brothers, Rodney Gardner, Levon Jennings and Baby June Jennings; and his stepfather Theo Jennings. He is survived by: his wife Carla Buchanan-Murrey of Memphis, Tennessee; his mother Ruthie Mae Jennings of Eupora, Mississippi; his children, Clavon Barney (Takisha) of Clarksville, Reginald Barney, Terrell Thomas, Travon Murrey of Memphis, Tennessee, Philicia Barney of Irving and Danielle Thomas of Martin, Tennessee; his brothers, Andra'Gardener, Bennie Jennings of Eupora, Michael Jennings (Sylvia) and Theo Jennings II of Memphis, Tennessee; his mother-in-law Katherine Buchanan; and his sister-in-law Shirrell Holmes. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
