Constance Furchgott Solmson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2025, at the age of 73, Constance Furchgott Solmson of Memphis, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Constance departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Constance may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Constance leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Furchgott and Jane Furchgott of Savannah. She is survived by: her husband William Solmson (Billy); and her brother Charles Furchgott, Jr. (Lynda).
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 8th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Bonaventure Cemetery (330 Bonaventure Rd, Savannah, GA 31404). A reception will be held on Sunday, March 8th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Congregation Mickve Israel Social Hall (20 E Gordon St, Savannah, GA 31401).
