He was predeceased by: his parents, John Steele Henderson, Sr. and June Ivy Clark Henderson; his half-brother John Steele Henderson, Jr.; and his daughters, Betty Yvonne Henderson, Terri Coates Perkins and Lynda Disney Necaise.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Carol Henderson; his daughter Carolyn Teems (Chris); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Kevin, Jill, Rebekah, Dale, Alex and Adam; and his stepsons, Woody and Ronald Brackeen. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
