He is survived by: his sister Reese Ferrell of Brownsville, TN; his sister-in-law Annette Sharp of Olive Branch, MS; his sibling's children, Kimberly Field of Hernando, MS, Stephanie Spencer of Oxford, MS, Kevin Sharp of Bartlett, TN and Matthew Sharp of Olive Branch, MS; and his aunt Martha Hunter (Tom) of Millington, TN..

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dallas Sharp's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

“I’m shocked and saddened by the loss of Moose. We were good friends in high school as well as when I was in college. In fact, my brother-in-law invested in his first business when he started it. My last contact with him was when we had a class reunion in 2021. He was a great guy and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers for his family.”
