He was predeceased by: his parent Cecil; and his sister Elizabeth Boshell Raybeck. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Marie Moffit Boshell; his daughter Dawn Carlisle Lozano (Marco); his granddaughters, Natasha Marie McCarty (Noah) and Brittany Nicole McCarty (Lucas); and his nephew Bradley Raybeck.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens (3700 N Germantown Pkwy, Bartlett, TN 38133). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Memphis Memory Gardens (6444 Raleigh Lagrange Rd, Memphis, TN 38134). A reception will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Fellowship Will Occur (3700 N Germantown Pkwy, Bartlett, TN 38133).
