He was predeceased by: his parents, David Hoyt Holloway, Sr. and Mabel Touchstone Holloway. He is survived by: his wife Lynn King Holloway of Chattanooga; his sister Jane Holloway Skelton; his children, David Holloway III (Valerie) and Janet Holloway Cousar (late David) of Memphis; his grandchildren, Susan Holloway of Memphis, James Holloway (Rocio) of Patchogue, NY, Will Holloway (Rachel) of Fort Wayne, IN, David Holloway III of Nashville, TN, John David Christman of Memphis, Juliana Christman of Atlanta, GA, Thomas Densford of Memphis and Sarah Grace Moore of Memphis; his great grandchildren, Shannon Moore of Springfield, VA, Evelyn, Joshua and Catherine Holloway of Fort Wayne, IN; his nieces, Elizabeth Morgan (Garrick) and Jennifer McAfee (Mark) of Jacksonville Beach, FL; his great-nephew Tyler McAfee; and his great-niece Virginia McAfee.
He practiced for 52 years before he retired at age 84 due to the changes in the practice of medicine caused by COVID.
