He was predeceased by: his father David Harris Sr.; his son Dante Harris; his sister Larissa Harris; his grandmother Teresa Cole; and his stepdaughter Shemedia Dawn Shelton (Dee-Dee).
He is survived by: his mother Barbara Cole; his wife Dr. Carla DeBro Harris; his brother Roderick Harris (Tangela); his children, Tameka Harris, Dr. Angel S. Archibald-Harris (Jovanna), Solomon Harris, Genre Page and Corey Marshall; and his stepson Edrick Coggins. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Niece's, Nephews, Cousins, and Special Friends.
