With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Hickey Jr. (Memphis, Tennessee), born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. David left this world on January 22, 2026 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Homer David Hickey and Marguerite Bacon Hickey; and his son-in-law Rear Admiral Brian Davies, USN. He is survived by: his wife Sidney Easley Hickey; his children, Kacey Hickey Davies and Jon-Paul Hickey; his daughter-in-law Kathryn Pitts Hickey; and his grandchildren, Caitlin Davies, Garrison Hickey and Nora Grace Hickey.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Grace-St. Luke's Episcopal Church or Church Health.
