David leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. David’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew David will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his wife Rebecca Earline Marshall; his parents, William Carl Marshall and Cratie Maxwell Marshall; and his siblings, Carl Marshall Jr., Annie Mae McAlpin and Betty Robinson.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Jennings and Randy Marshall (Kathleen). He is also survived by five grandchildren, and five great- grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Bolivar (109 Mecklinburg Dr, Bolivar, TN 38008). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the West Memorial Cemetery (6230 Saulsbury Rd, Saulsbury, TN 38067).
