He was predeceased by: his parents, Shed Caffey and Jane Caffey. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his son David Caffey Jr. (Jacqueline); his grandson David Caffey III; and his siblings, Kip (Jan) of Atlanta and Betsy of Tupelo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
