He was predeceased by: his father James Edward Martin; his grandparents, Erma, Alex and Bertha Martin; his cousins, Regina McGlaun (Jefferies), Sandra McGlaun (Watkins) and Rosaland McGlaun (Robinson); and his mother Charlene Turner Martin (Martin).
He is survived by: his siblings, Patricia Martin Hairston (Joe), Larry Montel Mallory (Bobby), Kimberly Martin Lewis (Millard) of Waco, TX, Tasha Martin House (Darrell) of Flint, MI and Renwick Martin (Beshon) of Detroit, MI; his cousin Acquanitia McGlaun Moxley (Thomas); his aunt Robertha Petty-Simmons; and his uncle James E. Scott (Marcus McNeal) of Oxford, MS. He is also survived by extended family members, fraternity brothers.
