It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Mae Carter in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on July 6, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Moran and Louise Moran; her husband Alfred Burton Carter; her sister Freddie Webb; and her son-in-law John Murdock.

She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Murdock and Marsha Lulloff (Butch); her grandchildren, Jon Michael Murdock (Megan) and Malorie Lulloff-Meyers (Josh); her great grandchild Kate Murdock; and her sister Ersellee Kendrick.
