Dorothy Simpson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Simpson of Memphis, Tennessee, born in Spearsville, Louisiana, who passed away on December 12, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard W. Hollis and Callie Martin Hollis; her daughter Anita Gilbow; and her granddaughter Sarah French. She is survived by: her daughters, Janell McCorkle of Memphis, TN and Carolyn Simpson of Memphis, TN; and her sister Laveda Perdue of Searcy, AR. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
