We bid farewell to Douglas Lee Plouffe of Memphis, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 10, 2024 at the age of 91. Douglas touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Douglas may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Douglas touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Evelyn Faye Watson of Malta, Montana.; and his siblings, Margaret Plouffe Siroshton (Hank), Sonny Amos Plouffe (Ilene), Alan Plouffe (Dorothy) and Thelma Plouffe Carnahan (Gene).
He is survived by: his wife Darla Norberg Plouffe of Chinook; his grandson Garrett Carter (Britney); and also, Darrell, Gwen Carter (Mark) and Ronda Plouffe. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM.
