He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Maryel Jones of Long Beach, Earnest T. Draper of Houston and Patrick Owens of Memphis; and his sister Doris Owens of Memphis, TN. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
