He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence Perkins and Mabel Perkins; his wife Beverly Nelson Perkins; his children, David Allen Perkins (Erin) of Bartlett, TN, Theresa Dawn Perkins Collier (Michael) of Atoka, TN, Cathy Perkins (Dan Winfield) of Shelby County, TN, Charlie Perkins (Joann) of Shelby County, TN and Wendy Milian (Ronald Webb) of Memphis, TN.; and his siblings, Mike Perkins (Rachelle) of Bartlett, TN and Donna Perkins Martin (Gene) of Bartlett, TN. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Waypoint Baptist Church, 5586 Stage Rd, Bartlett, TN 38134.
