He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Raiford and Lena Raiford; his child Eddie, Jr. (Janie); and his siblings, John Henry Raiford of Memphis, Tennessee., Rosetta, Jewell, Jol, Robert and JoeNathan.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Raiford; his children, Clarence (Earnestine) of Richmond, Virginia, Burmestine (James) of Seattle, Mary Alice and Cornell (Shawn) of Columbia; his grandchildren, Antonio, Niki, Tamika (Sean), Corey, Michael, Erica, Nekeisha (Darrius), Clarence, Jr., Jeanetta and Tiara; his great grandchildren, Tatiuna, Angel, Taelon, Michael Jr., Cameron, Christian, Tyhler and Lauren of Kensleigh, J. T.; and his brother King Raiford of Memphis.
