She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Peete and Carrie Peete (Boyd); and her siblings, Alease Parrish, Walter Peete, Louis Peete, Martha Croft, Elizabeth Peete and Johnnie Peete.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Charles Leo Thomas; her children, Stephanie Lynne (Thomas) and Charles Stephen Thomas (Nicole); and her grandchildren, Sydney Tryon, Sawyer Tryon, Dominique Thomas and Peyton Thomas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
