It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elechi Etieno Madu (Memphis, Tennessee), who passed away on May 7, 2023, at the age of 18, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Obong Okon Mkpong and Madam Affiong Mkpong; and her uncle Okechukwu Okoromadu. She is survived by: her parents, Emmanuel Madu and Pamela Madu; her brother Chinua; her aunts and uncles, Idongesit Mkpong-Ruffin (Dale), Uduak Mkpong Afangideh (P. T.), Ngozi Okeke (Michael), Mfon Mkpong Nze, Ekemini Mkpong (Uduak) and Chima Uchenna (LaChundrae); her grandparents, Nwafor Okoromadu and Ethel Okoromadu; and her uncle Creator. She is also survived by 25 cousins, other family members and friends.
