He was predeceased by: his daughters, Evelyn Stevens (Jim) and Felicia Franks. He is survived by: his children, Lynn Cannon (Darren), Lisa Carman (Chuck), Charles Waddell (Lycel) and Michelle Lewis (Jerome). He is also survived by ses 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park – East (2440 Whitten Rd, Memphis, TN 38133). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens (3700 N Germantown Pkwy, Bartlett, TN 38133).
