With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emma J Throneberry in Memphis, Tennessee, born in Pickens, Mississippi, who passed away on May 30, 2024 at the age of 98. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Emma J Throneberry to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Johnston and Minnie Johnston; her brothers, Woodrow of Cecil, E. F. and Louis Johnston; her husband Walter Throneberry; her son Woody Throneberry; and her daughter-in-law Linda Wesson Throneberry.

She is survived by: her sister Vera Johnston Griffin; and her sons, Kel, Gregg (Cindy) and Wade Throneberry (Janet). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers please make memorials in her name to First Baptist Church of Fishersville.
