We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2024, at the age of 69, Essie Taylor-Branch (Memphis, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Taylor and Daisy Taylor. She is survived by: her husband Samuel Branch; her sons, Joe Eddie Ross, Jr. (Alice), Alaster Ross (Sonya) and Luke Ross (Shayla) of Milwaukee, WI; and her siblings, Bernice Emerson (Bernard), Rev. Ollie Taylor (Sandra) of Milwaukee, WI, Elijah Taylor of Milwaukee, WI, Irma Taylor of Memphis, TN, Junice Taylor of Charleston, MS, Mary Taylor Lewis (Stanley) of Lilburn, GA, Martha Taylor-Driver (Gregory) of Collierville, TN and Naomi Taylor of Memphis, TN. She is also survived by grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends.
