With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fred Allen Sr. of Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on December 11, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Allen and Madeline Maxwell; his brothers, Billy Allen Sr. and George Tedrow Allen; and his daughter-in-law Jana Allen.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Allen; his sons, Fred Allen, Jr. and Michael G. Allen (Patti); his grandchildren, Andrew Allen, Zach Allen (Lisa), John Austin Allen (Jill) and Emily Turner (Harold); his great grandchildren, Hailey Samples, Hayden Samples, Cruz Allen, Carter Miller, Neyland Pitcher, Knox Pitcher, Courtany Childers, Mary Turner, Brittany Windham and Eathen Turner; and his brother Ronnie Maxwell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials are sent to: The Dementia Society of America.
