It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freda Martin (Memphis, Tennessee), who passed away on August 8, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius B. L. Greene and Freda Franklin Greene; Michael David Greene. She is survived by: her husband Tommy Lee Martin; her daughter Melanie Denise; her grandchildren, Kara, Sara, Shane Jr., Elijah and Elise Norman; her aunt Jeraldine Franklin Sanderlin; her siblings, Pauletta Greene Reese, Dr. Beverly Greene Bond (Geraldus) and Glenn Gary Greene, Sr. (Brenda); her cousins, Karen Sanderlin Champion (Maurice), Phyllis Brown Mitchum (Paul) and Patrice Brown Myers (Alan); and her friends, Gwenda Porter and Enid Walton.
