With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary Ray Bratton of Memphis, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Ann Bratton; his brother Clinton Woodrow Bratton Jr.; and his parents, Clinton Woodrow Bratton and Bessie Mae Buford. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Chiles (Brett), Scott Bratton and David Bratton; his grandchildren, Margaret, Linden and Jack; and his siblings, Norma B. Cowell and Michael W. Bratton (Vicki). He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorials be sent to West Clinic in Memphis, the Humane Society of Memphis, or your local animal shelter of choice.
