She was predeceased by: her daughter Susan H. Sanford. She is survived by: her husband Sam M. Haspel, Jr.; her brother Gene S. Friedman (Karen); her son Randolph "Randy" Haspel (Melody); her granddaughters, Julie and Jill Sanford Burrows (Aaron); her great grandchildren, Poppy and Elsie; Lisa Wakefield, Sallie Ford and Everlena Gray. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in her name to one of her favorite charities, the Memphis Food Bank.
