He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry VanCleave and Yvonne VanCleave. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughters, Tara and Shannon; his siblings, Diane (Worth) and Don (Rebecca); and his pets, Moose and Smoke. He is also survived by nephews, nieces.
