As Gregory Lester departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Gregory Lester. Though Gregory Lester may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Shears and Lula Mae Jones. He is survived by: his children, Marquette Shears (Catina), Brandon Jones and Ebony Bady. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the R. S. Lewis and Sons Funeral Homes (2944 Walnut Grove Rd, Memphis, TN 38111). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
