With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gwendolyn Davis Bynum (Memphis, Tennessee), who passed away on April 30, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Timothy Davis, Sr. and Ever Jean Davis; her husband Jim W. Bynum; and her brothers, Tommy Earl Davis and Jefferson Davis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gwennette McDowell of Memphis, TN and Jennifer Smith (Glen) of Smyrna, TN; her grandchildren, Ethan McDowell, Katelyn Smith, Alex McDowell and Kaycie Smith; and her siblings, Doris Smith, Alena Little, Jurley Watson, Teresa Hibbler, Timothy Davis Jr., Orlando Davis (Lucille), Keith Davis and Carlton Davis (Teresa).
