He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Byrnes Blurton; his parents, Rollie Blurton and Velma Trull Blurton; his siblings, Demetra Morgan and Herman Blurton; and his grandson Austin Moore.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Moore (Roger) and Lisa Kelso; and his brothers, Gene Blurton and Bill Blurton. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Home (5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119).
