He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyman T. Vailes and Daisy M. Vailes; his siblings, Doris Ann Vailes, Ralph Vailes and Randy Vailes; his daughter Doris Ann Vailes; his granddaughter Cindee Leigh Parham; his son-in-law Sid Parham; and the mothers of children, Eleanor Vailes and Betty Vailes.
He is survived by: his children, Jean Tamboli (Frank), Tina Parham (Sid) and Randy McKay (Marsha); his grandchildren, Will McKay (Jennie), Chris Parham, Jon McKay, Andrew McKay (Kendall) and Courtney Wilkerson (Trent); and his brothers, Don Vailes (Emma) and Larry Vailes (Judy). He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Baptist Reynolds Hospice House 1520 West Poplar Avenue Collierville, TN 38017.
