It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Sue Cooper of Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on May 1, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charlie Cooper, Sr.; her parents, Aubrey Lorette and Ruth Irene Baird; her siblings, Nell Sevold, Margaret Lacy, Billy Baird and Richard Baird; and her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Baird, Gordon Sevold, Elkin Heair and Lynn Lacy.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Smith (Kirby) and Charles "Chuck" E. Cooper, Jr.; her sisters, Sarah Heair, Rachel Richer (Dave) and Martha Allen (Bob); her grandchildren, Christy Brown (James) and Tyler Smith (Anna); her great grandchildren, Hudson Brown, Logan Brown and Harper Brown; and her sister-in-law Dell Baird.
