He was predeceased by: his wife Hildred Hooper; his parents, Ida Mae Hooper and Henry Hooper; and his siblings, Phyllis Bell, JoAnn Tutson, Phillip Hooper, Willie Hooper and Howard Hooper.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Hooper, Keith Hooper and Kimberly Nichols (Clinton); his grandchildren, Wesley Rao (John), Brennan Bradfield (Christian), Haley Hooper, Henry A. Hooper, Nola Hooper and Madyn Hooper; his great grandchildren, Charlotte Bradfield, Collins Bradfield and Willow Rao; and his sister Rose Hooper Lynch. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Fisher House Foundation or Memphis Arrow Academy of Excellence in honor of Henry's lifelong commitment to veterans, education, and community service.
