We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2024, at the age of 87, Henry M. Karel of Memphis, Tennessee, born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Karel and Betty Rubenstein Karel; and his wife Emily Travis Karel. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Karel, Sr. (Joy) and Richard Karel (Kerri); and his grandchildren, Michael Karel II (Brittany), Bradley Karel (Jacquelyn), Paaton Karel, Ryan Karel (Rachel) and Belle Karel. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
