He is survived by: his wife Mary S. McGrew (Jean) of Centre, AL.; his children, Deborah McGrew of Centre, AL, W. Douglas McGrew (Tammy) of Cedar Bluff, AL, Janet Stein (Grant) of Atlanta, GA, Herb McGrew (Robyn) of Midway, GA and David McGrew (Sharon) of McDonough, GA; his grandchildren, Heather Wyatt (Brandon), Mary Lyn Stein (Jon Levy), Joshua Stein (Lindsey Anderson), Breanna Genecov (Adam), Christopher McGrew (Emily), Sara Spires, Meggan McGrew, Rachel McGrew, Bradley McGrew, Kristin Cochran, Ryan McGrew (Kim), Sean McGrew and Joe McGrew; his great grandchildren, Haydon Wyatt, Savannah Wyatt, Benjamin Levy, Adira Levy, Freya Stein Anderson, Herschel Stein Anderson, Callie McGrew, Annie McGrew, Christina Cochran and Noah Cochran; and his siblings, Laura King of Caseyville, IL, Thelma Fortson of Orange, CA, Walhalla (Kenneth Mills) and Piedmont Cotton Mill. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, & friends.
