He is survived by: his wife Mary Fay O'Ryan; his children, Mary "Ryan" Davis Harris (Mark), Elizabeth Davis Sharpe, Charles Howard Davis, III (Sarah Sakaan) and Amelia Davis Aldinger (Carter); and his grandchildren, William Aldinger, Sophie Elizabeth Sharpe, Matthew Hunter Sharpe, Margret "Margot" Amelia Davis and Phoebe Kay Davis.
