He was predeceased by: his parents, Faye Golwen and Stanley Golwen; and his wife Bettie. He is survived by: his children, Anne Brand (David) and John Golwen (Tammy); and his grandsons, John Huntley Brand, Henry Gardner Brand and Greer McGuire Golwen.
The family requests memorials be directed to St. John's Episcopal Church, Memphis, where a memorial service will be held on February 16 with visitation beginning at 10 am in the sanctuary.
